a month agoDelicious! You aren’t limited to the breakfast menu in the morning, you can order anything. The restaurant has a lot of seating and great atmosphere, Cookie is so kind and welcoming and the food was fantastic. You have to try the menudo!

a month agoThis is one of the best little taco spots in the valley it’s tucked next to Walmart here in Harlingen. The food is outstanding. The service is great cookie. The owner is almost always there, but always with a smile. When in doubt we always end up here at La Botana de De Cookie. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!

4 months agoFamily friendly restaurant hidden away in an unassuming plaza that definitely deserves some attention. The food was delicious, service was great with a nice family-friendly atmosphere that makes the food taste even better. With plenty of shopping options around the area, this place is a perfect way to end a busy day of shopping to replenish the gas tank.

8 months agoFood took 30+ mins and it was room temperature at best. We were the only ones in the place and I still never got asked to refill my coffee. To add insult to injury they charge extra for the takeout containers. Giving a two star because the jalapeño poppers are good, price but good. Next time we’ll order them for takeout.

9 months agoI really like this place. The food is delicious. We visit very often. From breakfast to dinner we really enjoy every single dish. That sweet tea is really good. There are many options in Harlingen for mexican food but I prefer this one because it's delicious, reasonable prices and services is good.

11 months agoFirst time at La Botana, food was delicious. Reasonable prices. Everything arrived at the table hot. Very quiet restaurant. We were sat on a side area since it was a large group making the service a bit on the slower side but the whole group ordered variety of food, it was all correct and everyone was satisfied. Recommend going for anyone looking for a cute quiet place.

11 months agoDecided to come here cause my sister saw it on tiktok. The menu wasn't as a big variety as we originally thought. We ordered the enchiladas suizas, American enchiladas, alambriza, fajita platter, tampiquena plate, and the milanesa de Pollo. Best plate was the milanesa de Pollo. Big plates of enchiladas were good. We got the alambriza cold, but flavor was okay. They cane with charro beans, which surprisingly were good, but small serving. The service was okay. We were a big party so they did their best. The young ladies were nice but a little unorganized. Atmosphere was quiet, clean. Not many people were here. Overall it was decent.
